Vision Day

Vision technology is always on the move, and so are we. Often, our everyday lives are so full of concrete, exciting projects that we don't get the chance to share the other breakthroughs that happen when 30 engineers are at work.

That’s why we created Vision Day. At this event, you can hear experts from JLI share insights on how far new technologies have come and what we at JLI are working on right now to bring the benefits of these technologies to our customers.

We aim to equip you with the ability to assess the current opportunities within vision technology and get a glimpse into what the near future brings.

You'll have direct access to our experts as we open our doors, showcasing technology through setups and presentations in a range of exciting areas.

Practicalities:

Place: JLI vision A/S, Ellekær 9, 2670 Herlev

Time: October 8th from 8.15 to 15.00

Language: English

Concept: Small groups rotate between 12 booths, each demonstrating a specific technology. A short 15-minute intro is given, and then the group moves to the next booth. After the last booth, everyone is free to revisit the booths that they find interesting and talk to the experts.

8.15: Breakfast and introduction

9.00: 15-minute presentations on the following topics:

• Anomaly detection - across all vision systems
• How to manage machine learning in a validated environment 
• Example of machine learning in the industry 
• Keeping your system running for years

10:00 Short break 

10:15 15-minute intro to each of the following topics: 

• 3D scanning with a robot 
• 3D scanning on challenging materials like glass 
• Concrete example of a hyperspectral medical system
•  X-ray “Look Deeper: How to See Inside Products” 
• Object simulation 

11:30: Lunch

12:30: 15-minute presentations on the following topics:

• Event camera - what is it? 
• Lighting simulation
• Smart cameras, how far have they come?

13:15: Ask the experts - visit the booths as you like 

14:30: Wrapping up
